Children’s Day Workshop

Children’s Day Workshop | November 18, 19th | 11 AM – 3 PM

Indian Music Experience Museum is conducting an exciting, interactive, fun-filled one-day musical workshop during the weekend of Children’s Day. This workshop will give the young music enthusiasts an opportunity to learn, and appreciate basic concepts of music such as rhythm and notes, through an engaging and experiential learning session.

In this one-day workshop, facilitated by theater enthusiast and art educator Lakshmi V, children will explore various facets of music through the Museum exhibit galleries using elements of storytelling, theater, music and movement. It encourages self-expression through song writing. The workshop makes the child understand and appreciate the role of music in daily life. The Instruments Gallery in the Museum will help children gain insights into musical instruments and their categories. The workshop also fosters an understanding of each child’s personal relationship with music.
