Youth Advisory Board
The Youth Advisory Programme is a pioneering initiative conceptualised by the Indian Music Experience Museum in 2021 in partnership with the British Council.
The programme brings together young adults of 14 to 17 years to form an advisory council to review all verticals and offer implementable suggestions with a special focus on programmes, education, curation and communications. This programme aims to integrate young adults as changemakers in cultural organisations by allowing them to understand the behind-the-scenes of a museum alongside developing leadership qualities, critical thinking skills and learning to work as a team. Their work will translate into implementable recommendations for IME, cultivating a youth and community-centric approach for the museum. The ReReeti Foundation played an instrumental role in managing the programme from its inception in 2021 till the latest YAB cohort in 2026.
