IME invites participants of all age groups with a desire to perform on an open stage. Whether it is to share original music, hone performance skills, or simply overcome stage fright in a supportive and creative environment. Poetry, singing, instruments are all welcome at the IME Open Mic!

For participants with specific sensory needs please do share details for accommodation in the registration form.

20 slots for performance are available and each artist will be given 6 mins on stage.

About the series:

The IME Open Mic is a monthly community event envisioned as an inclusive, non-judgemental and genre agnostic space and a platform for free musical expression. The Open Mic was conceived in 2022 by the second Youth Advisory Board, IME’s unique programme for young people (14 to 17 year olds).
