Sonam Kalra & The Sufi Gospel Project

Where voices of faith meet, music becomes a shared language.
Conceived by singer and composer Sonam Kalra, Sonam Kalra & The Sufi Gospel Project weaves together song, music and the spoken word to explore faith across cultures. Traditional western gospels meld with Indian classical sounds, and Indian spiritual texts are enriched by elements of western poetry to reveal that no matter what the language of the lyrics, or the ethnicity of the sounds, there is but one language, the language of faith.
Across languages, traditions and forms, the music points to a shared truth. That faith, like music, speaks in many voices but carries one spirit.
