About the Artist
Karthik Sundar Gubbi, known by his stage name Gubbi, is a multilingual rapper, lyricist, and composer from Bengaluru, performing in Kannada, English, Hindi, and German. A pioneering voice in the city’s Rap scene, Gubbi began his journey through text rap battles in 2007 and developed a unique bilingual style by 2011. His work spans socially conscious themes to humorous takes on South Indian beats, with collaborations across diverse musical traditions. This session will be facilitated in both in-person and online modes.
