Indian Music Experience Museum in partnership with NalandaWay Foundation invites you to ‘Prayer for Peace’, a concert by the Chennai Children’s Choir.
This production weaves together songs and poems from diverse languages and cultures, celebrating the themes of unity, love, and nature. It includes verses from poets like Basavanna, Annamacharya, Rasappa Kavirayar, and Narsinh Mehta, along with contributions from Bharathiyar, Tagore, Bob Dylan, and Faiz Ahmad Faiz.
Chennai Children’s Choir (CCC)
Launched in 2015, Chennai Children’s Choir (CCC) uses music to uplift children from underserved communities, building confidence and breaking social barriers. The choir has delivered nearly 50 performances across India and internationally, including a standing ovation at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in 2018, and a memorable collaboration with Sri TM Krishna in Chennai.

NalandaWay Foundation
NalandaWay Foundation, established in 2005, empowers children from disadvantaged communities by enhancing their resilience, agency, and emotional well-being through the arts. By creating safe learning spaces, the organization fosters curiosity, creativity, and confidence. For the last 19 years, the foundation has been running integrated arts-based programs in schools, Child Care Institutions (CCIs), and low-income neighborhoods. Partnering with governments and communities, NalandaWay brings transformative initiatives to both urban and rural settings.
