Dance is an integral aspect of Indian Cinema, however the type of dancing and the genres we see on screen have changed with time. The Indian Music Experience in partnership with the World Dance Alliance Foundation is excited to present ‘Indian Classical Dance in Indian Cinema – Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow’, a talk by Sri VAK Ranga Rao, renowned scholar, musicologist, art critic and orator. In this session which is open to all, Mr. Ranga Rao will trace the representation of Indian Classical Dance through different eras of Indian cinema.
