Indian Music Experience Museum presents ‘Lost Songs of Courtesans, Popular Culture & Public Memory’, a lecture by Manjari Chaturvedi. In her lecture, she will delve into original songs sung by tawaifs, some lost with time, others depicted in cinema, shaping public memory of courtesans’ artistic contributions.

Manjari Chaturvedi, is the creator of Sufi Kathak, restorer of Tawaif dance, Director & Choreographer, TedX Speaker, and Cultural Academic.
‘The Courtesan Project’, a global success, giving voice to women, honoring a century of creative contributions to arts is widely loved.
