Experience Hindustani Music blending with the beautiful early morning Bengaluru skies in the serene environs of our terrace amphitheatre this Saturday, 22 June, 6.30 am.
Shruti Bode is a Bengaluru-based Hindustani vocalist who has been performing for around 24 years nationally and internationally. Her gurus are Vid. Vani Hardikar ji and Dr. Bharati Vaishampayan ji. Shruti also performs devotional music, has sung for Kathak and Odissi dance projects and composes songs in Kannada as well.
She will be accompanied by Yogeesh Bhat on Tabla and Vignesh Bhagwat on Harmonium.
This program is part of IME’s World Music Day celebrations.
