Birds and Cities – World Environment Day Special! By Garima Bhatia

Birds and their Behaviours

a lifetime ticket to the theatre of nature By Garima Bhatia

It may be hard to believe, but birds pack an incredible amount of intelligence into their small frames. With the ability to fly, their sharp eyesight and amazing repertoire of songs, birds may seem very different from us humans, but they are also a lot like us in many ways! The most striking thing after how beautiful birds look, is observing what they are doing. Bird species don’t just look unique, they have unique ways of going about their daily lives, from feeding and breeding to avoiding predators and maximizing their chances of survival. In this session we will get a glimpse into what it is like to be a bird, and learn about their interesting behaviours which make watching birds such an enjoyable and satisfying hobby.
