Artful Bonds
About
Join us for the next Artful Bonds workshop at IME!
We’re excited to invite you to our family art workshops, Artful Bonds, designed to bring generations together! These monthly sessions offer a unique opportunity to explore the vibrant world of performing and visual arts. Families will engage with fascinating artifacts from the museum and collaborate on art projects that celebrate culture and creativity through stories, songs, and dialogues.
The second session of the Artful Bonds series will be facilitated by Lakshmi Raghu, Community Programmes Manager at IME and a visual artist. This workshop invites families to explore the inspiring connection between visual arts and music. Participants will be guided through a visual art workshop, using music as a prompt to explore color theory, textures, and patterns, creating art simply for the joy of expression. The session will culminate in a collaborative collage-making activity, where families come together to create a unique piece of art that reflects their shared emotions and creativity.
Artful Bonds encourages participants of all ages to connect through artistic expression, meaningful conversations and shared experiences. It’s not just about creating art; it’s about building lasting connections and memories that transcend generations. Join us for a fun-filled day of creativity, collaboration, and community spirit!
Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to strengthen family ties and explore the rich heritage of Indian music and arts.
