Subramaniam.\nFollowing the spectacular IME at 7 Global Fusion Concert on 11 July, where audiences witnessed the maestro perform alongside an extraordinary line-up of musicians, we now invite you to experience a more intimate celebration of his life and legacy.\nJoin us on 26 July 2026 for the unveiling of Dr. L. Subramaniam’s violin in the museum’s Stars Gallery. More than an instrument, this violin has been his lifelong creative companion that has shaped decades of practice, innovation and musical excellence. Alongside it, the museum will also unveil two remarkable additions to its permanent collection: the maestro’s original handwritten musical notations and a vintage LP album, generously donated by Dr. Subramaniam.\nIME is also delighted to welcome Chiranjiv Singh, Former Ambassador of India to UNESCO as our Chief Guest and Chandra Jain, Textile Revivalist & Founder, Kadambari as our Guest of Honour for this momentous occasion. \nThe unveiling will be followed by a special conversation with Dr. L. Subramaniam, moderated by writer, researcher and curator Sadhana Rao.
